I live and practice hypnotherapy in Farnham, Surrey; working from a home therapy room as well as at The Farnham Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic on Firgrove Hill.

Professionally trained at the Quest Institute (based in Regents College, London) I have been awarded their Diploma of Cognitive Hypnotherapy (Dip Chyp) and the Hypnotherapist Practitioner Diploma (HPD) from the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH). The HPD is the first nationally accredited Hypnotherapy qualification awarded by the NCFE national awarding body. In addition I am also a qualified NLP Practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming). I also have a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering.

In common with other professional Hypnotherapists I am fully insured and am a registered member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy (MNCH) which insists on the highest standard of professionalism and ethics from its members.

My background is in engineering, science and sales and marketing and I worked for many years in a major blue chip company. However, my interest in how the mind works, and all the fascinating research that has been produced over the years led me to the Quest Institute. I was looking for a more scientific approach to the subject of therapy and I found it.

My work is immensely satisfying and always fascinating. I have always enjoyed working with people and being able to help them is a privilege. Most people come to me with a problem that has bothered them for a long time but they feel too embarrassed or shy to discuss it. Many clients feel sure that their problem is stupid, unsolvable and that they are the only person with this type of issue. I always say that they would be surprised by just how common problems like depression, phobias, lack of confidence etc are, and that I deal with all types of issues with complete confidentiality and I never judge.
